Screen embryos before transfer.
Preimplantation genetic testing checks embryos created through IVF before transfer. PGT-A screens for the right number of chromosomes, PGT-M looks for a specific inherited condition and PGT-SR for structural rearrangements, so the embryo with the best chance of a healthy pregnancy can be chosen.

Find answers when transfers do not take.
When good-quality embryos fail to implant over repeated cycles, testing can help find the reason. Endometrial receptivity testing identifies the window when the uterine lining is ready for transfer, and karyotyping of both partners rules out chromosomal causes, guiding the plan for the next cycle.

Investigate repeated loss with genetic insight.
Recurrent pregnancy loss is distressing, and around half of early losses have a chromosomal cause. Testing the pregnancy tissue and the parents’ chromosomes explains what happened, whether it is likely to recur and which options, including PGT in a future IVF cycle, can lower the risk next time.

Know inherited risks before treatment.
Before starting IVF, carrier screening shows whether you and your partner carry the same inherited condition, such as thalassaemia or spinal muscular atrophy. Most carriers are healthy with no family history. Knowing early allows PGT-M to be planned so that only unaffected embryos are transferred.
